About your Guide

Join your exclusive Oktoberfest guide, Bob Krumm. Bob is a retired U.S. Army general, founder, and owner of the Bavarian Bierhaus. He was stationed for six years in Germany, where he fell in love with the food, the beer, the wine, and the culture. So he brought the experience of an authentic Bavarian bierhall back home to Nashville when he opened the Bavarian Bierhaus in 2017. Your adventure begins when you arrive in Frankfurt. After your flight, your driver will meet you and take you to the hotel in the charming town of Würzburg. Würtzburg Tour, Residenz Palace


This morning, your day will begin with a guided tour of Würzburg. Explore this picturesque town, known for its baroque architecture and stunning vineyards. Accompanied by a local guide, we will visit the Residenz Palace, a UNESCO World Heritage site, and admire its magnificent rooms and gardens. Later, we will drive to a winery where you can enjoy some samples and have free time to stroll around, shop, or have lunch. The rest of the day is yours to enjoy at your leisure.

Bamberg Tour, Schlenkerla Brewery


Get ready for a day of exploration with a local expert. This morning, we will visit the famous Bamberg. We will also tour one of the renowned breweries, where you can taste the well-known Rauchbier, a smoked beer that is highly regarded. You’ll learn about the traditional brewing process and sample some of their finest beers along with local food. Later in the day, we will arrive and relax at your beautiful hotel.

Tour of Nuremberg, War Crimes Tribunal


This morning, we will head to Nuremberg to explore this historic and captivating city. We will visit the stone wall fortifications and the medieval towers of the Altstadt. Additionally, prepare to see the War Crimes Tribunal. A local expert will guide us through this significant historical site, where some of the most pivotal trials of the 20th century took place. In the afternoon, you will have plenty of free time to enjoy lunch, shop, and explore the town at your own pace before we return to the hotel.

Tonight, we will enjoy a wonderful dinner, accompanied by plenty of beer, at our fabulous hotel.

Nuremberg, Munich, Oktoberfest


After breakfast, guests will check out and travel to Munich. Upon arrival, the group will drop off their luggage and continue to Oktoberfest, where reserved tent seating awaits. Enjoy the lively festival, sample traditional beers, savor Bavarian dishes, and explore the grounds at your leisure. A light lunch and beer are included. Dinner this evening is on your own.

***Return transportation to the hotel will be available at 3:00 PM, 5:00 PM, and 8:00 PM, offering flexibility throughout the day.

Munich City Center


After breakfast at the hotel, guests will participate in a guided morning tour of Munich’s historic city center, offering a well-rounded introduction to the city.

The afternoon is at leisure, allowing guests the opportunity to explore Munich independently, enjoy shopping, or optionally return to Oktoberfest for additional festivities. In the evening, guests will return to the hotel for a group dinner, followed by free time to relax or enjoy the city at their own pace.

Weltenburg Abbey, Farewell Dinner


Breakfast at the hotel, followed by a morning transfer to the Bavarian countryside.

Guests will visit the historic Weltenburg Abbey, one of the oldest monastic breweries in the world. The visit includes a guided tour of the abbey’s brewery, offering insights into centuries-old brewing traditions, followed by a beer tasting featuring their renowned craft beers. A traditional Bavarian lunch will be served in the monastery’s scenic beer garden.

In the afternoon, guests will return to Munich. The day concludes with a farewell dinner at the iconic Hofbräuhaus, one of Munich’s most famous beer halls, known for its lively atmosphere, traditional music, and classic Bavarian cuisine.

Departure from Munich Airport
